A sad but lovely story

Sadly, we report the death of Lorraine’s mother a short time before she and Rob visited Kailahun in January.  However, Lorraine was able to take out with her a number of knitted dolls made by her mother.  In the delightful photograph above you can see two of these dolls being treasured by Emmanuela and Fattu.  These children called Loz’s mum ‘grandma’, as they call Loz their mum.
